We don't really have much in the way of content on the website at the moment - the archive is incomplete, and provides limited interest to visitors.

Articles
We could write a few short articles about G&S stuff. Not sure what exactly, but it could complement the existing FOGSHorn stuff.
Shop
See Merchandise and Tickets.
Also, I think books would be good (possibly reselling through Amazon).
The basic shop page is at http://www.gsyork.co.uk/shop - it's got some example stuff from Ruddigore on it still.
Calendar
We should use the website as the central place to record what's happening and when. This means:
- You don't have to be logged in to facebook
- You don't have to search through all your old emails for relevant info
- People will check the website regularly
That being said, the information on the website will still need to get emailed to people, and possibly to facebook, but it should be the authorative record, rather than something that lags behind.
To this end, the new website will support news items on the front page, and a calendar, which should be used by the directors to update the rehearsal schedule, etc.
Archive
The archive is beginning to come into shape. It still needs a fair amount of work, mostly to input all the data from old programmes which is missing. We might want to ask more ex-members to provide updated information about some of the shows.
Things I would like to add:
- PDF copies of old programmes
- More photos
- Posters
- Complete cast lists
