Matthew David Collins

Matt Collins, once described as "that long drink of water in the orchestra pit" was a repetiteur for Iolanthe 03, Gondoliers 04 and was musical director for Ida 05, Another Openin' Another Show and Patience 06.

The rest of the society certainly looked up to Matt - well, we had to!

He became, with Clare Greener, and Helen and Nick Lay, one of the founding members of Jorvik - York's dedicated Gilbert and Sullivan Company - where he also serves as musical director.
