The Gondoliers was the fifth show performed by the society. It was performed in Central Hall, February 1977.

It is unknown who the chair was.

It is my pleasure, yet again, to welcome you to this production of "The Gondoliers". I am sure you will all enjoy the lovely music, witty dialogue and the enthusiasm and dedication of the York University Gilbert and Sullivan Society at this performance. Have a happy evening, and thank you for the support of this excellent Society.
